Job Description

Project Manager delivering end-to-end qualitative research projects for Pureprofile, a global data and insights organisation. Coordinating recruitment, fieldwork, suppliers, budgets, clients, and final reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of an allocated portfolio of qualitative projects from kick-off through recruitment, fieldwork, moderation support, reviewing project data, and reporting
  • Coordinate projects across IDIs, focus groups, ethnography, online communities, digital qual platforms, and hybrid qual-quant
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on delivery logistics and execution
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets; track milestones and flag risks or slippage
  • Own project margin and on-time delivery; monitor costs against scope and escalate variations or scope changes
  • Quality-check recruitment screeners, stimulus, fieldwork schedules, and status reports
  • Serve as day-to-day client contact, manage expectations, provide status updates, and maintain working relationships
  • Provide project updates to clients and internal sales contacts, flag concerns, and provide sampling strategies for hard-to-achieve targets
  • Maintain project documentation in Salesforce and other systems; ensure compliance with ISO requirements, Fair Data Principles, and internal best practice
  • Identify improvements to qual delivery processes, templates, and tooling
  • Support the Head of Operations with process roll-out
  • Share knowledge with peers and support junior team members and recruiters

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in qualitative research project management or delivery, with hands-on involvement in recruitment, fieldwork coordination, analysis, and reporting
  • Solid working knowledge of contemporary qual methodologies — IDIs, focus groups, ethnography, online communities, digital qual platforms, and hybrid qual-quant designs
  • Strong organisational and project management skills — able to juggle multiple concurrent projects, competing deadlines, and shifting priorities without dropping quality
  • Demonstrated experience managing project timelines, budgets, and quality; comfortable tracking margin and flagging issues early
  • Confident coordinating internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep multiple projects moving in parallel
  • Good client management skills — able to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build reliable day-to-day relationships with research buyers
  • A commercial mindset — understands the link between scope, cost, and margin, and supports sales on accurate project costing and feasibility
  • Familiarity with qual suppliers across ANZ (recruiters, viewing facilities, transcription, translation, digital qual platforms) is an advantage
  • Experience with CRM and project management systems (Salesforce or equivalent); exposure to ISO-certified environments a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — clear, accurate, and well-organised in both client-facing and internal contexts

Benefits:

  • Growing, global organisation with a dynamic and admirable culture
  • Ability to thrive, grow and be creative
  • Equal opportunity employer
  • Zero-tolerance for workplace bullying, discrimination, and harassment
