Job Description
Project Manager/Scrum Master leading SAIC’s enterprise AI integration program. Managing Agile delivery, executive reporting, risks, and cross-functional technical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a defined phase of a complex, multi-phase AI integration program
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports
- Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, status updates, and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate appropriately and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including AI/ML engineers, data scientists, IT infrastructure, business analysts, and end users
- Track and report KPIs, sprint velocity, and project health metrics using Jira and other reporting tools
- Support change management efforts related to AI capability adoption and integration across impacted business units
- Collaborate with Project Managers and the Program Manager to manage phase interdependencies
- Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, decision logs, action item trackers, and lessons learned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience, or Master's degree and 8 years of experience
- Candidates must be U.S. Citizens
- Candidates must be able to get a Secret clearance
- Proven experience managing projects in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, dashboards, and analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive briefings, stakeholder presentations, and program reporting
- Proficiency with Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, and project reporting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Strong briefing skills with experience presenting to leadership and decision-makers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Preferred: Experience supporting or leading projects involving Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or emerging technology integration
- Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Preferred: Experience with ActionableAgile
- Preferred: Experience working within large-scale, multi-phase programs with complex interdependencies
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI governance, ethics, or responsible AI frameworks
- Preferred: Experience in federal government contracting
