Job Description

Project Manager for Soil to Air Project at SGS responsible for inspection oversight and compliance with engineering specifications. Managing project deliverables and schedules while leading inspection teams in refinery settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope evaluation and development FY 2026/2027 Including Estimated Cost and Schedule.
  • Project file/package preparation
  • Project file/package updating
  • Progress tracking and updating
  • Budget tracking and updating
  • Cost tracking and updating
  • Supervision of project personnel
  • Review inspection reports (relevancy, accuracy, completeness) & Submit to Owner-User
  • Research and resolve issues identified by field personnel
  • Resolve issues preventing progress of project work
  • Ensure compliance with Engineering Specifications and API Code requirements
  • Bring issues in need of attention to the Chief Inspector
  • Obtain necessary permits to work (Inspection personnel only)
  • Safety conscious- review job and work location for safety issues

Requirements:

  • Have experience leading inspections projects
  • Have inspections credentials and experience with the following - API 570/API 653 and/or NDE.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a refinery/industrial setting.
  • Maintain clean professional appearance and behavior
  • Have organizational capabilities
  • Have proper time management abilities
  • Be self-motivated and self-managed
  • Be able to work alone and with others (will work extensively with other crafts and Operations)
  • Remediate concerns
  • Be prepared for work- have necessary PPE, tools, and equipment to complete tasks
  • Safety Conscious
