Job Description

Project Officer managing training content and experience for Local Pathways Fellows at SDSN Youth. Supporting urban sustainability initiatives and communication among a peer-to-peer network.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide feedback to fellows monthly assignments
  • Apply feedback given by senior advisors into the program
  • Support the hosting of webinars with industry thought leaders and experts to provide an insight into the various aspects of sustainable development in cities
  • Create reports of main on the development of their urban sustainability projects
  • Support with design and assembly of training material and educational resources for the program
  • Implement outcomes from webinars, assignments, and fellows´ feedback
  • Attend the monthly team calls with the Project Lead, and any other relevant calls with any other team members;
  • Ensure effective communication by providing timely responses in internal channels;

Requirements:

  • Candidate MUST have knowledge in urban planning, urban environment, urban sustainability, urban tech or related fields.
  • Candidate MUST have some volunteer or work experience in a role that requires managing urban sustainability content.
  • Candidate MUST have excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Candidate MUST be a proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and manage workload across several projects/teams.
  • Candidate MUST demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively and report consistently.
  • Candidate MUST be responsive and able to manage regular communication with the team - including after-hours conference calls, as the network spans 10 different time zones.
  • Candidate MUST be aged between 18-30 in order to be eligible for this role (exceptions may apply).
