Job Description

Intern in customer consulting and content creation at a platform connecting craftsmen and clients. Responsibilities include phone consulting and creating SEO content for blogs and guides.

Responsibilities:

  • Phone-based customer consulting
  • You will independently handle the phone screening of incoming job requests in the trades sector and ensure that only complete, reliable jobs are added to the platform
  • You will make quick and friendly contact — even when callers are impatient or imprecise
  • You will identify patterns in unusable leads and independently advance the qualification process
  • You will create SEO-optimized content according to the content plan: blog posts, guides, and industry-specific topics related to the trades
  • You will write Help Center articles, interview pieces, and other formats in flawless German, tailored to our target audience
  • You will update and optimize existing texts and templates independently when something is outdated or could be improved

Requirements:

  • Background in media studies, communication, journalism, German studies, or a related field — not required but a definite plus
  • Students, recent graduates, and career changers are welcome — duration and workload (part-time or full-time) will be discussed openly and individually
  • Native or near-native German — written and spoken — is mandatory
  • You understand Swiss German without difficulty; active speaking is a big plus
  • French skills are a real advantage and allow for more flexible assignments
  • You are strong in communication, empathetic, and remain friendly and professional on the phone — even in difficult conversations
  • You work with attention to detail and do not settle for vague answers when qualifying leads
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset: you see what needs to be done and do it without waiting for instructions
  • Affinity for the trades or small businesses is a plus but not required
