Job Description

Geospatial Project Operations Specialist enabling smooth execution of complex survey and mapping programs using LiDAR, drone data, GIS and engineering surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate project scopes into actionable execution schedules and task plans.
  • Coordinate daily workflows across field survey teams, data processing units, QA/QC, CAD, and reporting teams.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between raw data capture, processing, validation, and final output stages.
  • Maintain detailed project dashboards and trackers for timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Monitor milestone progress and flag risks, delays, or bottlenecks early.
  • Support timely resolution of issues to keep projects on schedule.
  • Organize and maintain structured project documentation including DPRs, QA/QC logs, data registers, and submission records.
  • Ensure version control and traceability for all raw, processed, and final datasets.
  • Coordinate submission of datasets and reports to clients in line with agreed formats and timelines.
  • Track client feedback, manage rework cycles, and ensure prompt approvals.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing by preparing progress summaries, measurement sheets, and submission logs.
  • Track approvals to minimize billing delays and ensure timely project closure.
  • Support handover and archival activities at project completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, Surveying, or Project/Operations Management.
  • Exposure to LiDAR, drone surveys, GIS, CAD, or engineering project delivery environments.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing attention to detail.
  • High proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, MS Project, and structured documentation tools.
  • Clear communication skills to work with technical teams and external clients.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on timelines, accuracy, and accountability.
