Job Description

Public Cloud Solutions Architect at Kyndryl designing cloud architectures based on business goals. Collaborating with clients and leading architectural workshops for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • act as the trusted advisor who turns business goals into cloud architecture
  • work closely with client executives, enterprise architects, security and compliance teams
  • run discovery and assessment workshops
  • build the business case and total cost of ownership
  • translate requirements into well-architected solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
  • mentor other architects and consultants
  • build reference architectures and reusable accelerators
  • help set Kyndryl apart through newer capabilities such as agentic AI and automation

Requirements:

  • 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions
  • at least 4+ years focused on public cloud architecture
  • hands-on solutions architecture experience on at least one major hyperscaler (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • multi-cloud experience strongly preferred
  • track record leading cloud migration and modernization programs
  • strong command of core cloud domains: compute, storage, networking (VPC/VNet, hybrid connectivity, DNS, load balancing), identity and access management, and cloud security and governance
  • solid grasp of cloud-native and modernization patterns: containers and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), microservices, serverless, and application refactoring
  • hands-on experience designing and delivering AI solutions on cloud
  • experience applying AI to the delivery itself
  • infrastructure as code and automation experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible)
  • practical understanding of security by design, cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
  • proven consulting skills: running client workshops, presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
  • At least one current associate- or professional-level cloud certification
