Job Description
Public Cloud Solutions Architect at Kyndryl designing cloud architectures based on business goals. Collaborating with clients and leading architectural workshops for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Responsibilities:
- act as the trusted advisor who turns business goals into cloud architecture
- work closely with client executives, enterprise architects, security and compliance teams
- run discovery and assessment workshops
- build the business case and total cost of ownership
- translate requirements into well-architected solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
- mentor other architects and consultants
- build reference architectures and reusable accelerators
- help set Kyndryl apart through newer capabilities such as agentic AI and automation
Requirements:
- 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions
- at least 4+ years focused on public cloud architecture
- hands-on solutions architecture experience on at least one major hyperscaler (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
- multi-cloud experience strongly preferred
- track record leading cloud migration and modernization programs
- strong command of core cloud domains: compute, storage, networking (VPC/VNet, hybrid connectivity, DNS, load balancing), identity and access management, and cloud security and governance
- solid grasp of cloud-native and modernization patterns: containers and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), microservices, serverless, and application refactoring
- hands-on experience designing and delivering AI solutions on cloud
- experience applying AI to the delivery itself
- infrastructure as code and automation experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible)
- practical understanding of security by design, cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
- proven consulting skills: running client workshops, presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
- At least one current associate- or professional-level cloud certification
