Job Description

QA Engineer driving quality and reliability across iGaming platforms in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Joining a distributed team to ensure seamless player experiences with advanced testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and strategies for new features and complex architectural changes.
  • Conducting deep-dive exploratory testing and root-cause analysis on complex, cross-platform gaming applications (web, mobile, and native).
  • Validating backend microservices and databases, ensuring data integrity and seamless API integrations.
  • Working closely with product managers, designers, and developers in a Shift-Left environment to define acceptance criteria and prevent defects early.
  • Leveraging AI-assisted tools to optimise test data generation, script writing, and log analysis.
  • Monitoring live releases and working proactively with technical teams to ensure zero-downtime deployments.
  • Mentoring junior team members and advocating for QA best practices across the engineering department.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a QA Engineer, ideally within the fast-paced iGaming industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with API and microservices testing using modern tools (e.g., Postman or code-based API testing).
  • Solid experience with test automation frameworks (such as Playwright)
  • Excellent understanding of database architecture
  • A proven track record of testing highly dynamic, responsive web and mobile applications across various browsers and devices.
  • The ability to interpret complex technical requirements and translate them into clear, concise test cases and documentation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical risks to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • An excellent eye for detail, a proactive team attitude, and the ability to think outside the box to uncover critical edge cases.
