Job Description

Regional operations manager owning process-server marketplace performance across Arizona and Texas. Balancing coverage, recruiting servers, managing incidents, and leading regional pilots.

Responsibilities:

  • Own supply and demand balance across Arizona and Texas
  • Identify coverage gaps, recruit process servers, set dispatch strategy, and grow server capacity
  • Detect performance problems early and diagnose root causes
  • Maintain relationships with the region's highest-volume process servers
  • Lead incident response for app outages, dispatch bottlenecks, and weather disruptions
  • Run marketplace pilots, track results, and report findings with project managers
  • Manage the regional incentive budget and flag overspend
  • Report on coverage gap closure, service-level attainment, and market health
  • Directly manage W2 staff, including approving timecards and conducting performance reviews
  • Feed regional learnings into incentive design, dispatch rules, and pay structures across other markets

Requirements:

  • Experience owning a local market, territory, or region in a marketplace, gig, or field-operations environment
  • Experience balancing supply and demand using in-market observations and self-collected data
  • Experience coaching someone in a frontline or contract role to improve performance
  • Experience managing full-time (W2) employees through timecards and performance reviews
  • Willingness to run experiments, iterate quickly, and scale effective approaches
  • Willingness to work on the ground in the market; this is not a remote strategy seat
  • Self-starting data habit and ability to interpret dispatch or service-level dashboards
  • Comfortable partnering with project managers on in-market initiatives
  • At least one direct report with specific coaching experience
  • Strong written communication
  • Preferred: experience running structured pilots and scaling results
  • Preferred: SQL or dashboard fluency with Metabase, Looker, or similar
  • Preferred: comfort with Jira or similar and Intercom or similar
  • Preferred: experience building in ambiguous environments
  • Preferred: experience coaching contract or hourly workers
