Job Description
Associate Therapist providing outpatient telehealth mental health care through Brave Health. Delivering psychotherapy, assessments, and treatment planning for patients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate mental health treatment using technology to expand access to care
- Provide psychotherapy and clinical care to patients across the lifespan
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Assess mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses
- Develop treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Partner with clients to achieve their goals
- Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Complete the application questionnaire and proceed through recruiter matching if mutually selected
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Unable to support employment authorization tied to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses
- Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English
- Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or comparable associate therapist/registered intern licensure/credential
