Job Description

Associate Therapist delivering Spanish-speaking outpatient telehealth care at Brave Health. Providing diagnosis-informed treatment planning and assessments for patients across the lifespan.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health treatment remotely
  • Provide care to patients across the lifespan
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Use mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses to inform treatment
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Partner with clients to achieve their goals
  • Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Participate in the application follow-up process, including completing a brief questionnaire if requested
  • Work with the appropriate senior recruiter if there is a mutual fit

Requirements:

  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
  • Fluency in English
  • Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
  • Associate Therapist/Registered Intern license or another listed applicable credential, as applicable
  • Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Experience with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
  • Experience with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
  • Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
