Job Description
Release and Cutover Manager governing Oracle Cloud HCM environments, releases and payroll cutovers. Managing regulated route-to-live governance for a major UK financial services organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end route to live across the live Oracle Cloud HCM estate
- Govern development, SIT, UAT and production environments
- Map Oracle HCM environments to connected applications and interfaces
- Control entry of project, business-as-usual, regulatory and vendor change into controlled environments
- Lead integrated release planning and implementation planning
- Govern cutover, rollback, contingency and post-implementation validation
- Govern retrofit activities to keep configuration, code and integrations aligned
- Align Oracle quarterly updates with programme releases, payroll cut-offs and testing cycles
- Coordinate the calendar covering two mandatory Oracle updates and the March payroll year end
- Work with project managers, product owners, architects, test managers, service management, suppliers and change approval forums
- Make release and environment decisions
Requirements:
- Experience governing a route to live on a large ERP programme in a regulated environment
- Experience chairing approval forums, setting entry and exit criteria, and controlling delivery gates
- Experience governing payroll cut-offs and parallel runs, including reconciliation
- Oracle Cloud HCM experience and knowledge of its quarterly update cycle advantageous
- ERP experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or PeopleSoft considered
- Experience in financial services or another regulated sector
- Ability to manage audit trails and approval evidence
