Job Description

Release and Cutover Manager governing Oracle Cloud HCM environments, releases and payroll cutovers. Managing regulated route-to-live governance for a major UK financial services organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end route to live across the live Oracle Cloud HCM estate
  • Govern development, SIT, UAT and production environments
  • Map Oracle HCM environments to connected applications and interfaces
  • Control entry of project, business-as-usual, regulatory and vendor change into controlled environments
  • Lead integrated release planning and implementation planning
  • Govern cutover, rollback, contingency and post-implementation validation
  • Govern retrofit activities to keep configuration, code and integrations aligned
  • Align Oracle quarterly updates with programme releases, payroll cut-offs and testing cycles
  • Coordinate the calendar covering two mandatory Oracle updates and the March payroll year end
  • Work with project managers, product owners, architects, test managers, service management, suppliers and change approval forums
  • Make release and environment decisions

Requirements:

  • Experience governing a route to live on a large ERP programme in a regulated environment
  • Experience chairing approval forums, setting entry and exit criteria, and controlling delivery gates
  • Experience governing payroll cut-offs and parallel runs, including reconciliation
  • Oracle Cloud HCM experience and knowledge of its quarterly update cycle advantageous
  • ERP experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or PeopleSoft considered
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated sector
  • Ability to manage audit trails and approval evidence
