Job Description

Retail Territory Manager driving Stanley Black & Decker tool sales across San Antonio Home Depot and Lowe’s accounts. Managing retail partnerships, promotions, inventory, and professional end-user engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a territory of Home Depot and Lowe’s accounts or a combination of these accounts
  • Manage retail accounts and daily activities, including retail account visits
  • Analyze metrics in Salesforce, Power BI, and ShowPad to strategically plan customer routing schedules
  • Drive top-line sales to deliver quarterly and annual POS goals
  • Partner with Store and District Managers to align strategies with retail-specific goals
  • Analyze POS by store and promotional performance to develop individualized store and territory sales plans
  • Work with Sales Operations to ensure proper inventory for promotional activities
  • Develop and execute strategies based on trends and SKU-level data
  • Sell in and execute national event activations and develop local territory activations
  • Implement national overdrive strategies and identify territory-specific opportunities
  • Engage store and district key decision makers on initiatives and customized programs
  • Partner with retail service partners through district meetings and quality walks
  • Use sales enablement tools to identify sales gaps and create plans to close them
  • Manage inventory and retailer-specific order writing, including exit strategies for Special Buy promotions
  • Develop relationships with professional end-users through product and service solutions, job site blitzes, product training, and product seeding
  • Execute monthly job site visits aligned with retailer pro strategies
  • Manage T&E, Demo Tool, and other budgets to drive profitability

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 3-5 years of Retail Sales Experience in Consumer Goods Industry
  • Willingness to travel regionally and work occasional weekends (8-10 annually)
  • Ability to handle, train on, and demonstrate products
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including climbing ladders and standing for several hours a day
  • Ability to analyze Power BI and SalesForce data to develop strategic growth plans
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must pass drug test and MVR
