Job Description
Sales Analyst growing Silicon Sensing’s MEMS inertial sensor business across U.S., Canada, and South America. Developing leads, proposals, customer opportunities, and market intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new sales leads
- Prepare winning proposals and close major sales prospects
- Engage new and prospective customers to understand requirements and qualify short- and long-term opportunities
- Collect the Voice of the Customer
- Liaise with internal engineering and project teams to ensure product developments address market needs
- Analyze markets, including size, location, and trends
- Contribute to brand awareness and promotion
- Develop working knowledge of relevant industry and competitor activity
- Assist with business forecasting and planning
- Liaise with staff in the U.K. and Japan
- Travel up to 75%, including frequent domestic and occasional international travel for customer visits, trade shows, and conferences
- Report directly to the Business Development Manager in the U.S.
Requirements:
- University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage work independently, maintain confidence in decision-making, and collaborate effectively with others
- Commercial awareness and a track record of achieving business development outcomes, ideally within an international engineering environment such as electronics or sensors
- U.S. citizenship required
- STEM degree preferred
- Experience working with or selling inertial sensors, navigation sensors or systems, or working knowledge of navigation, guidance, or pointing systems in avionics, defense, marine, space, or surveying
