Job Description
Practice Head leading SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects in a global context at Sutherland. Ensuring delivery excellence and stakeholder satisfaction while driving transformation and value realization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SAP functional practice, ensuring innovation, delivery excellence, and stakeholder satisfaction across global programs.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, providing strategic guidance on solution architecture and process optimization.
- Guide/Coach team across full lifecycle delivery of SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects aligned with SAP Activate methodology.
- Provide leadership for RISE with SAP implementations, covering both Brownfield and Greenfield approaches.
- Define and execute transformation roadmaps across key SAP functional domains and business processes.
- Lead implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA modules to align with enterprise-wide process requirements.
- Expertise in handling SAP Readiness Check, SAP Signavio Process Insights-discovery edition, Custom Code Analytics, Simplification items, Fiori Apps applicability, Design and optimize core SAP modules to ensure compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Ability to relate advanced SAP topics such as material ledger, revenue recognition, and business rules management.
- Lead data migration efforts from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA using SAP-recommended tools and methodologies.
- Implement internal controls, audit mechanisms, and compliance features within SAP applications.
- Guide cross-functional teams for adherence to integrated business process design.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning activities by aligning SAP capabilities with client requirements.
- Contribute to practice development through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and capability building.
- Engage in thought leadership and innovation initiatives to enhance SAP functional delivery and client value.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC related projects
- Experience with multiple SAP implementation full life-cycle experience
- Senior Project or Program Management experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture.
- Preferably involving the implementation of SAP ECC or S/4HANA and the use of ACTIVATE and other methodologies.
- Solid analytical / problem solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective.
- Strong influencing and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
- Strong client service attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of agile practices such as scrum, and methodologies such as ACTIVATE is strongly desired.
