Job Description
Security Automation Engineer helping Foresite customers deploy SOAR-powered cybersecurity automation. Building Python integrations, workflows, playbooks, and training client teams.
Responsibilities:
- Help customers deploy and adopt Foresite’s SOAR-powered ecosystem
- Work directly with external clients throughout each engagement
- Write and adapt Python scripts for API integrations and automated actions
- Partner with customer stakeholders to understand tools, processes, and pain points
- Design tailored automation workflows, playbooks, and blocks
- Manage playbook and script repositories using Git and GitHub best practices
- Design, build, and troubleshoot automation playbooks, workflows, and blocks in Google SecOps SOAR
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact during customer engagements
- Deliver hands-on enablement training to customer teams
- Identify security-operations bottlenecks and implement solutions to reduce MTTD and MTTR
- Create clear, customer-facing documentation for playbooks, workflows, and integrations
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in security engineering or security operations
- Foundational Python scripting skills
- Comfortable working with RESTful APIs
- Experience parsing JSON structures
- Experience integrating data across diverse platforms
- Demonstrated experience with GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests
- Willingness and aptitude to learn Google SecOps SOAR or other major SOAR platforms
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability
