Job Description
DevOps Automation Engineer automating system administration for DATAGROUP, a German IT service provider. Integrating tools, APIs, and scripts into its proprietary AI platform.
Responsibilities:
- Identify recurring tasks in system administration and uncover automation opportunities
- Automate processes using DATAGROUP's proprietary AI software
- Integrate and connect tools and APIs with the DATAGROUP AI platform
- Develop and optimize scripts for platform-specific CLIs and APIs, including Bash, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph
- Collaborate with specialized Windows, Linux, and networking teams
- Capture expert-team knowledge and translate it into scalable solutions within the DATAGROUP AI platform
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as a DevOps Automation Engineer or in a similar role
- Solid programming skills, ideally in JavaScript
- Strong willingness to learn new programming languages
- Experience in scripting, e.g. PowerShell
- Hands-on experience in system administration, including Windows, Linux, and networking
- Strong analytical thinking
- Structured, independent, and responsible way of working
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- German language skills are a plus
