Job Description
AI Automation Engineer building AI-powered automations, dashboards, and internal applications for a healthcare technology company. Improving operational workflows through APIs, SQL, Python, databases, and low-code tools.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business teams to understand workflows, data processes, and operational bottlenecks
- Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered automations, internal dashboards, lightweight applications, and workflow improvements
- Use AI-assisted development tools, APIs, automation platforms, SQL, Python, databases, and low-code technologies
- Connect disconnected systems and reduce repetitive manual work
- Improve accuracy across key processes
- Build reporting tools and internal applications to improve visibility and support better decisions
- Identify practical applications for LLMs, AI agents, and related tools
- Own projects from problem discovery through deployment, iteration, and measurable business impact
- Independently identify and deploy improvements that reduce manual work, improve visibility, increase accuracy, or accelerate business processes
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, automation, data engineering, technical operations, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable platforms
- Ability to work with APIs, databases, SQL, Python, and integration tools
- Experience building lightweight internal applications, dashboards, or workflow automations
- Strong analytical instincts and ability to understand business processes quickly
- Self-starter able to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without extensive specifications
- Comfort moving quickly, experimenting, and building practical solutions
- Demonstrated building ability, resourcefulness, business intuition, and ability to deliver useful solutions
- Prior forward-deployed engineering experience is not required
