Job Description
AI Automation Engineer building AI-powered workflows, dashboards, and internal tools for a healthcare technology company. Automating operations, finance, and clinical processes to improve speed and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Work with operations, finance, clinical, and other teams to understand workflows, data processes, and operational bottlenecks
- Design, prototype, and deploy solutions using AI-assisted development tools, APIs, automation platforms, SQL, Python, and low-code technologies
- Automate repetitive tasks, connect disconnected systems, and streamline manual workflows
- Build dashboards, reporting tools, and lightweight internal applications that improve visibility and decision-making
- Apply LLMs, AI agents, and related technologies to improve productivity or accuracy
- Own projects from problem discovery through deployment, iteration, and measurable business impact
- Independently identify and deploy improvements that reduce manual work, improve operational visibility, increase accuracy, or accelerate key business processes
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in software engineering, automation, data engineering, technical operations, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable platforms
- Ability to work with APIs, databases, SQL, Python, and integration tools
- Experience building lightweight internal applications, dashboards, or workflow automations
- Strong analytical instincts and ability to understand business processes quickly
- Self-starter able to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without extensive specifications
- Comfort moving quickly, experimenting, and building practical solutions rather than over-engineered systems
- Demonstrated building ability, resourcefulness, business intuition, and ability to deliver useful solutions
