Job Description

Account Manager expanding filament-product accounts across North America for Celanese. Driving strategic growth, negotiations, market development, and commercial results across brush applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand existing accounts across North America
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of markets and competitive landscape to support product and solution development
  • Identify growth opportunities and new markets for filament products, focusing on high-value applications
  • Develop strategic account plans and drive topline growth through Key Account Management
  • Set growth strategies, deliver account planning, and build multi-level, cross-functional relationships
  • Work with technical support teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
  • Gather customer insights and identify sales opportunities through multiple channels
  • Build and maintain a sales funnel to achieve revenue, volume, and margin targets
  • Monitor the brushes and filaments market, competition, and trends
  • Conduct complex negotiations to secure positive commercial outcomes
  • Work with downstream brand owners to drive pull-through demand and increase brand awareness through marketing campaigns and activities
  • Identify high-growth markets and define strategy, business model, product positioning, margin structure, and sales channels
  • Drive execution to accelerate growth
  • Conduct routine sales-objective management, including Key Account Plans, Call Reports, and funnel-execution tracking

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, or another appropriate discipline
  • 5–7 years of relevant commercial experience
  • Strong business, financial, and legal acumen
  • Experience in polymers, synthetic materials, or related markets is a plus
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • National/global account management experience preferred
  • Strategic mindset and ability to identify business opportunities
  • Analytical ability to develop business cases and analyze market data
  • Energetic, self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach
  • Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in multicultural, adaptable environments
  • Strong negotiation skills and focus on financial results
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and administrative support teams locally and globally
  • Ability to explore uncertain markets, adapt to shifting priorities, and resolve challenges
  • Ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required by the application
