Job Description
Sr. Applied AI Engineer at Zapier focusing on AI Platform capabilities and improving LLM/ML Ops systems. Collaborating across teams to build robust infrastructure for machine learning and generative AI.
Responsibilities:
- Build and evolve shared AI Platform capabilities
- Improve LLM Ops and ML Ops capabilities
- Design and implement systems for performance and reliability
- Identify tooling gaps and standardize best practices
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and models
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering
- At least 3 years in building distributed, scalable, cloud-based ML/AI systems
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in LLM Ops or ML Ops
- Experience building shared services and reusable developer tooling
- Documenting trade-offs in development
- Building with cloud infrastructure technologies
- Experience working through the full lifecycle of ML/LLM architectures
