Job Description
Senior Applied Systems Engineer supporting all HVAC systems integration at Johnson Controls. Collaborating on innovative solutions in applied systems initiatives and technical publications.
Responsibilities:
- Support strategic opportunities showcasing Johnson Controls’ applied systems value proposition
- Develop and present technical content for customer sessions, training programs, and industry events
- Author technical papers, articles, and manuals for respected industry publications
- Maintain comprehensive system and application guides
- Research emerging technologies and system applications
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, and marketing teams
- Review technical documentation for accuracy and alignment with industry standards
- Represent Johnson Controls on industry committees
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 8+ years of HVAC industry experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and applications
- Demonstrated ability to perform objective technical analysis
- Active involvement in professional associations such as ASHRAE, USGBC, ASHE, or AEE (Preferred)
- Consulting engineering experience (Preferred)
