Job Description
Senior RN quality specialist improving clinical safety and complaint resolution for Prenuvo’s proactive whole-body MRI platform. Leading incident reviews, root-cause analyses, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve clinically related patient complaints
- Gather context from patients, clinic staff, and providers
- Coordinate cross-functional investigations with radiology, patient experience, and provider teams
- Triage and escalate concerns for timely, empathetic, and thorough resolution
- Provide patients with medical-history, scan-result, and whole-body MRI education
- Prepare and present complex cases for clinical quality review with evidence-based recommendations
- Manage the internal incident reporting system and compile event summaries
- Lead or participate in root cause analyses and identify systemic issues and latent vulnerabilities
- Translate incident findings into actionable risk-mitigation interventions
- Ensure safety tracking and incident resolutions comply with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement projects
- Monitor safety and quality data trends and recommend preventative interventions
- Champion a fair and transparent safety culture
- Train clinical and administrative staff on psychological safety and transparent incident reporting
- Maintain secure records of quality activities, complaints, and incident investigations
- Prepare monthly quality and safety reports for leadership, including trends, loop-closure metrics, and improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- Current and valid multi-state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Willingness and ability to become licensed in additional states as needed
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an active clinical setting
- Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in a clinical quality, patient safety, or risk management role
- Experience in MRI services, radiology, or oncology is a strong plus
- Familiarity with and commitment to proactive care culture principles, systemic risk management, and human factors in healthcare safety
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of turning safety data into actionable clinical workflows
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, scaling processes, and designing new systems in a fast-growing health-tech environment
- Outstanding remote communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
- Proficiency in video conferencing, Slack, Google Workspace, and email
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without current or future employer visa sponsorship
- Successful completion of a background check
