Job Description
Senior Counsel negotiating commercial agreements and IP licenses for Anaconda, which delivers enterprise-ready AI solutions. Building scalable legal processes, supporting sales teams, and mentoring counsel in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with enterprise, commercial, and mid-market sales teams
- Negotiate complex, high-value commercial agreements
- Develop playbooks and processes to accelerate future deals
- Handle open-source and proprietary licensing, data governance, and regulatory compliance issues
- Leverage AI tools to streamline legal workflows and scale impact
- Translate complex legal issues into practical guidance
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders
- Implement scalable legal processes
- Mentor junior team members
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support Anaconda’s growth and innovation
- Improve deal velocity and quality, contract-resource adoption, and team capability
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong background drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Experience with intellectual property licenses
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ability to implement scalable legal processes
- Experience with AI-driven legal workflows is advantageous
