Job Description
Senior Credit Manager owning credit policy, unit economics, and experiments for Tilt’s Mexico cash-advance product. Improving access to fair credit through mobile-first lending and machine learning.
Responsibilities:
- Own the credit performance of the core cash advance product in Mexico
- Set and tune credit policy covering eligibility, loan amount assignment, pricing, and repeat-loan progression
- Balance product growth and profitability
- Maintain and improve the unit economics and valuations model
- Measure performance and identify and execute opportunities
- Design, launch, and analyze experiments across the borrower lifecycle
- Monitor vintage performance, early delinquency, and roll rates
- Diagnose performance drift and implement fixes
- Partner with Data Science to move risk models from validation to production
- Size model impact and own release and monitoring plans
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Collections, Finance, BI, and Marketing
- Share insights with credit teams across other markets within the global credit organization
Requirements:
- 5+ years in consumer credit risk
- Fintech or digital lending experience preferred
- Experience managing credit policy for a live portfolio
- Experience using agentic AI tools to improve work velocity and quality
- Experience building or owning a unit economics or valuations model and using it for business decisions
- Experience designing and reading A/B tests with guardrails
- Ability to distinguish signal from noise
- Clear executive-level writing
- Ability to influence Product, Engineering, and Data Science partners without formal authority
- Working knowledge of the Mexican consumer lending market
- Professional fluency in English
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
