Job Description

RFID deployment manager engineering store execution, tagging, training, and enterprise rollouts. Supporting Avery Dennison’s global materials science and digital identification solutions business.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on RFID implementation within the retail ecosystem
  • Identify and validate RFID inlays and tags based on product material and read-range requirements
  • Define item-tagging locations to maximize read accuracy and minimize labor friction
  • Develop labor optimization models
  • Lead store operations training on RFID tools
  • Create the deployment playbook for transitioning from proof of concept to enterprise rollout
  • Collect and document baseline data before deployment
  • Support reporting on sales lift and margin lift related to RFID inventory accuracy
  • Monitor out-of-stock rates and inventory distortion to inform supply-chain replenishment cycles
  • Act as the strategic link between RFID technology and retail execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or related
  • Strong background in retail operations
  • Good facilitation, customer service, relationship building, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Comfort and confidence interacting with and presenting to all organizational levels
  • Good business acumen
  • Ability to influence effectively without authority
  • Ability to identify issues proactively, make decisions with incomplete information, and act expediently
  • Proficient in English
  • Willingness to work on a global clock and platform, including some overnight work
  • Willingness to travel 50–70%
