Job Description
Senior Data Engineer driving marketing operations and strategy at Root. Collaborating with multiple teams to enhance data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Data Science, Analytics, and experts in the Insurance group to set the strategy
- Identify and socialize important technical initiatives
- Coach and guide engineers on planning experiments and projects
- Contribute code each development cycle
- Lead by example in incident response
Requirements:
- 4+ years as a software engineer
- Expertise in Python, Terraform, SQL, and Spark
- Expertise in Cloud Architecture - AWS Preferred
- Expertise in Machine Learning Operations (Preferred)
- Expertise in Data Driven Marketing (Preferred)
