Job Description
Senior Director of Engineering leading a talented team for advanced Video Security solutions. Managing global deployments and fostering innovation in AI-based surveillance systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Drive and communicate the technical strategy and roadmap for the team.
- Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions, meeting scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with product management, security, and compliance teams.
- Champion engineering best practices and promote a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management.
- 6+ years of experience in an Engineering leadership role.
- Experience successfully evolving organizations with a focus on empowering leadership teams.
- Passionate about creating positive and engaging, high-trust employee environments.
- Experience in building and managing diverse, high-performing, geographically-distributed engineering teams.
- Proven track record of shipping complex, large-scale products on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of software architectures and patterns.
- Proven track record of defining and executing an AI-first engineering strategy.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance standards in the technology industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
