Job Description
Senior Director providing therapeutic area/product expertise across external medical stakeholders. Leading strategy, engagement, and communications while enhancing patient care and aligning with Pfizer objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic area/product expertise across a broad range of external medical stakeholders
- Plan and execute independent Medical strategy and engagement
- Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines
- Serve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information
- Educate external medical stakeholders based on patient care gaps
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines
- Identify and seek medical scientific engagement from priority external medical stakeholder segments
- Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise
- Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs leadership
- Mentor other mentors and teams
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience required
- Prior ATTR-CM and tafamidis knowledge required
- Deep subject matter expert who masters all competencies and is recognized across internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities
- Strong executive presence
- Consistent demonstration of independent thinking and high business acumen
- Exceptional collaboration across all remits
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding project management skills
- Ability to work within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team
