Job Description
Senior German-language editor producing SEO content for Paradise Media’s casino and sports-betting brands. Managing editorial quality, compliance, optimization, and content performance across DACH markets.
Responsibilities:
- Edit new content to meet brand voice, quality standards, and regional nuances
- Update existing content to maintain relevance, accuracy, and ranking power
- Use AI when requested to increase editorial output without negatively affecting content
- Ensure content meets legal, advertising, and responsible gaming guidelines across relevant geographies
- Ensure content passes plagiarism and AI detection software
- Implement SEO best practices for the DACH market, including meta titles, meta descriptions, and H1s
- Execute internal linking strategies to boost site authority and improve navigation
- Edit and format content directly in WordPress when needed
- Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate drafts, and perform data-driven content audits
- Work within a KPI-driven framework to meet output volume and quality benchmarks
- Keep up to date with industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes
- Communicate clearly and timely with team members
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions focused on content growth and improvement
- Perform additional departmental tasks as needed
- Train junior writers and editors if needed
- Collaborate with the Head of SEO, writers, editors, SEO teams, and content leads
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience producing high-performing SEO content in German
- Strong expertise in both sports betting and online casinos
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed, cross-functional teams
- Native German speaker
- Excellent grammar and natural writing flow
- Deep DACH cultural insight
- Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality German content within structured content systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining editorial and brand standards
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week
- Experience with WordPress, SurferSEO, Copyscape, Originality, Ahrefs, Gemini, and ChatGPT
- Knowledge of Google Search Console, Agentic AI tools, and ClickUp is a plus
