Job Description
Sr. Civil & Structures Engineer leading structural and foundation design for large-scale renewable energy projects. Collaborating with teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structural and foundation design for large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Review calculations and site plans, solving technical challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
- Provide technical guidance, support field teams, and help drive continuous improvement across design standards.
- Establish safe engineering designs that comply with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage designs that provide the most economical means to satisfy the design life of the power plant.
- Collaborate with company departments, outside vendors, suppliers, and technical firms to explore innovative ideas, methods, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, or related field required.
- Four or more years of progressive engineering and engineering supervisory experience in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.
- At a minimum, the candidate will hold an Engineer-in-Training certificate with potential to become a licensed Professional Engineer in 6 months preferred.
- Professional Engineer license, with an emphasis on construction, geotechnical, or structural engineering preferred.
- Surveying experience preferred.
