Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer building and scaling a custom coaching and personal-development community platform. Owning backend-focused features, integrations, testing, and production reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Review the existing production codebase for architecture, security, scalability, and reliability risks
- Recommend pragmatic improvements before prioritizing major new feature development
- Own features end-to-end from data modeling and architecture through building, deploying, and shipping
- Work across the full stack with a stronger backend focus
- Contribute to Vue frontend development and improve the platform's visual quality
- Use AI coding agents to accelerate development while maintaining correctness, reliability, and maintainability
- Design, automate, and execute functional, regression, load, and smoke testing
- Identify and communicate technical risks early
- Design and evolve Prisma schemas and PostgreSQL data models
- Work across integrations including Stripe Connect, LiveKit, Twilio, Zoom, Anthropic, and pgvector
- Help manage and grow a Google Apps Script reporting layer
- Test, debug, and ship features
- Review pull requests and maintain a consistent engineering bar
- Monitor production systems and participate in triage and incident resolution
- Improve existing code for reliability, maintainability, and performance
Requirements:
- 5-9+ years of software engineering experience with Nuxt or Vue, Prisma, and PostgreSQL
- Proven experience using AI coding agents on a production codebase
- Proven systems architecture experience and experience influencing structural decisions on production systems
- Strong testing expertise, including functional, regression, load, and smoke testing
- Experience automating test suites
- Ability to read, understand, and work within an existing codebase before pursuing a rewrite or redesign
- Extremely organized and self-sufficient
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a fluid, high-growth startup environment
- Experience owning entire features from concept through production deployment
- Availability for at least 5-6 hours of an 8-5 or 9-6 MST schedule
