Job Description
Senior full-stack engineer building scalable Python and AWS applications for Sokin, a global B2B payments provider. Owning architecture, delivery, reliability, and production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full software engineering lifecycle from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance
- Collaborate with PMs, designers, and cross-functional teams to refine feature requirements
- Lead architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable solutions
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes
- Mentor and guide junior developers
- Participate in code reviews focused on quality, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL databases
- Optimize application performance and resolve complex technical issues
- Monitor industry trends and advocate for beneficial emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven track record of end-to-end feature ownership and delivery in production environments
- Familiarity with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Experience managing development and operational aspects of software
- Focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive mindset for identifying improvements, optimizations, and innovations
- Prior senior-role experience mentoring or guiding team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
