Job Description

Senior Legal Counsel guiding enterprise SaaS contracts, privacy, employment matters, and AI compliance at LeapXpert. Supporting governed communication intelligence for global enterprises.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate customer-facing agreements, including MSAs, order forms, amendments, DPAs, vendor agreements, and reseller agreements
  • Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks
  • Advise on multi-jurisdictional data protection compliance, including GDPR/UK GDPR, Israeli Privacy Protection Law, Hong Kong PDPO, Singapore PDPA, China PIPL, and US state privacy laws including CCPA/CPRA
  • Review and negotiate Data Processing Agreements and cross-border data transfer mechanisms
  • Support AI product compliance workstreams
  • Advise on multi-jurisdiction employment matters, including terminations, probationary period issues, and EOR/PEO arrangements for cross-border hires
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance to unblock deals and provide practical legal guidance under time pressure
  • Maintain the legal request intake/tracking system
  • Draft departmental OKRs
  • Improve legal processes

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer (LL.B./J.D. or equivalent)
  • Active bar admission in at least one relevant jurisdiction
  • 7–10+ years' post-qualification experience
  • Substantial in-house experience at a SaaS and technology company
  • Expertise in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, including SaaS MSAs, DPAs, and vendor/reseller agreements, at enterprise scale
  • Working knowledge of data privacy and data protection law
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate legal risk clearly and pragmatically to non-legal audiences
  • Experience managing outside counsel relationships and budgets across multiple jurisdictions
  • Fluent to native-level professional English, spoken and written, mandatory
  • Direct experience with regulated financial institution customers or the RegTech/communications-compliance/archiving space is nice-to-have
  • Experience building or improving legal operations infrastructure is nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted legal drafting/review tools is nice-to-have
