Job Description
Senior Motion Designer conceptualizing, designing, and animating creative content remotely for a multinational team. Leading projects and mentoring designers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Translate abstract briefs into clear visual concepts.
- Conceptualise storyboards, visual languages, motion systems, & creative direction.
- Make smart creative decisions fast — and defend them calmly.
- Maintain strong fundamentals: timing, weight, composition, clarity.
- Teach mid-level and junior designers through feedback.
- Set quality benchmarks for motion and design output.
- Help shape internal workflows, templates, and best practices.
- Act as a creative sounding board for the Creative Director and leadership team.
- Present in client calls when needed. (EN or DE) Present work clearly and confidently.
- Interpret feedback intelligently.
- Work closely with producers, strategists, and developers.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in motion design / animation / creative production.
- Agency or studio background preferred (you’ve lived through chaos).
- Proven experience handling complex, high-stakes projects.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows (but not reliant on them).
- Nano, Kling and Weavy knowledge.
