Job Description

Senior Partner Account Manager expanding partner revenue for Geotab’s IoT and connected-transportation platform. Managing strategic relationships, sales growth, enablement, and cross-functional partnerships across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically expand Partners’ footprint and promote sustainable, profitable business relationships
  • Manage and nurture relationships with larger and more strategic Partners
  • Drive partner health, revenue growth, unit sales, and market share
  • Provide Partners with tools, training, resources, product education, and demonstrations
  • Develop sales strategies and facilitate growth and expansion for assigned accounts with internal stakeholders
  • Provide market, customer-needs, and product-performance feedback to product, marketing, and business development teams
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate partnership effectiveness
  • Prepare and present quarterly and annual leadership reports on forecasts, sales performance, market trends, and Partner relationships
  • Document and regularly update activity in Salesforce
  • Conduct business review meetings and maintain long-term strategic partner relationships
  • Coach and develop the Partner network through meetings, training, demonstrations, webinars, and customer calls
  • Help manage mutual end-user customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate on prospect deployment and onboarding plans
  • Support co-marketing and lead-generation initiatives
  • Offer technical expertise to close sales and assist with RFPs
  • Attend trade shows and conferences
  • Monitor market trends, technology platforms, competitors, and customer preferences
  • Mentor and support team members, new hires, and interns

Requirements:

  • Strong sales acumen, including prospecting, negotiation, closing deals, and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Relationship-building skills with reseller partners
  • Ability to gain deep product and service knowledge and provide technical guidance
  • Ability to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Data analysis skills using sales data and performance metrics
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Technical competence using Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and CRM tools
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field highly valued
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in a related field may be substituted
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within North America (US/Canada)
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport
  • Reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL when working from home
  • Eligibility to work in the United States verified through E-Verify
