Job Description
Sr. Perception Engineer at Devlane analyzing data and developing algorithms to improve automated systems. Join us for remote work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across Latin America.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and develop algorithms to improve how an automated system perceives its environment and the objects within it.
- Combine information from multiple sensors, such as cameras, infrared, positional data, etc.
- Develop reliable, high-quality solutions deployed at scale.
Requirements:
- BS Computer Vision (or similar)
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience; many releases of production quality deployments
- Programming in Python or C++
- Vision inspection pipelines
- Image processing (filtering, edge detection, morphology)
- Object detection & classification, Object tracking (Kalman, SORT, DeepSORT)
- Machine Learning, CNN, PyTorch, Data set creation, labeling, & augmentation, VertexAI, and/or AWS Sagemaker
- OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to learn/adapt quickly
- Advanced English level.
