Job Description

Senior program manager leading complex, strategic initiatives for G-P’s global employment SaaS platform. Driving cross-functional execution, executive alignment, and AI-enabled program management across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of large, complex, cross-functional programs from scoping and business case through execution, launch, and post-launch measurement.
  • Partner with functional executives and leadership teams as the primary contact for EPMO-supported work and escalation point for senior-level intervention.
  • Establish and lead cross-functional working teams without formal authority, setting shared goals, cadence, and accountability.
  • Drive momentum by setting near-term goals, unblocking dependencies, and aligning distributed stakeholders to a single source of truth.
  • Define program scope, objectives, and success criteria; develop project plans and maintain the authoritative record of decisions and status.
  • Communicate program health, including scope, schedule, risk, and resourcing, to senior and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, drive difficult decisions, and hold teams accountable for follow-through.
  • Contribute to EPMO standards, tools, and best practices, including adoption of AI capabilities throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Set company-wide program management standards and mentor other program managers without formal direct reports.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years leading enterprise-level, cross-functional programs and independently driving large, ambiguous initiatives to successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead through influence rather than authority, building trust and accountability with senior stakeholders and globally diverse teams
  • Mastery of executive communication with clarity, precision, and diplomatic grace
  • Strong ownership and independent execution in autonomous, ambiguous environments
  • Sound business judgment and ability to become fluent in new functional domains such as Legal, Finance, or Revenue
  • Comfortable working directly in a lean, high-performing team rather than delegating work
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives and shifting dependencies and deadlines simultaneously
  • Familiarity with AI systems for personal and team productivity
  • Experience with standard project, program, and portfolio management tooling
  • Experience using AI capabilities to enhance and scale project/program management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Preferred: proficiency with LLMs, generative AI, and agentic frameworks
  • Preferred: experience managing programs with significant AI scope
  • Preferred: professional certifications such as PMP or PgMP
