Job Description
Program Manager driving solid rocket motor supplier cost, schedule, quality, and capacity improvements. Supporting Raytheon’s Navy and Missile Defense Agency missions.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed supplier financial, technical, quality, and schedule performance objectives
- Influence cross-functional teams of engineering, quality, and procurement professionals to achieve Raytheon and customer deliverables
- Build relationships with supplier counterparts and executives to improve supplier performance and organizational alignment
- Support financial planning activities, including forecasting, AOP, and EAC
- Lead supplier risk mitigation and opportunity capture processes
- Develop and implement supplier strategies addressing current execution and future business
- Assess and communicate supplier metrics to internal stakeholders
- Provide direct feedback to suppliers
- Identify capacity and manufacturing improvements, including supplier investment
- Enable delivery of solid rocket motors supporting Navy and Missile Defense Agency mission capabilities
- Navigate Supplier Statement of Work and specification changes
- Travel domestically up to 50%, with potential for some international travel
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
- University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience
- Prior program/project management experience
- Prior experience supporting financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, and P&L
- Up to 50% domestic business travel, with potential for some international travel
