Job Description
Principal Technical Product Engineer advancing Palo Alto Networks’ DSPM and DDR capabilities. Designing cloud and AI data-security architectures for strategic enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical strategy, architecture validation, and solution design centered on DSPM capabilities
- Serve as the global Data Security SME for internal sales, partners, and enterprise customers
- Advise on shadow data discovery, data movement tracking, and data loss prevention
- Build technical content, architectural blueprints, proof-of-concept environments, and integration guides
- Develop DDR playbooks, SIEM/SOAR integrations, and automated incident response for the modern SOC
- Partner with Product Management to advocate for customer requirements and influence product roadmaps and market positioning
- Design security architectures protecting data used by AI/ML pipelines such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI/Foundry, and Google Vertex AI
- Bridge strategic customers, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services
- Identify recurring customer patterns, mentor others, and influence Cortex product strategy and technical direction
- Showcase DSPM and DDR capabilities across complex multi-cloud and AI environments
Requirements:
- Extensive experience leading cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments
- Experience managing multiple high-stakes projects and strategic enterprise customers simultaneously
- Exceptional professional presence and confidence advising practitioners through C-level executives
- Extensive experience working with strategic enterprise customers and major cloud infrastructure providers
- Strong background in SOAR, XSIAM, XDR, or CNAPP technologies
- Demonstrated mastery of securing modern cloud platforms and application architectures
- 6+ years in technical product engineering, solution architecture, or technical product management, concentrating on cloud and data security
- Deep expertise in DSPM, DDR, and DLP
- Hands-on experience with AWS S3/RDS, Azure Blob/SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks
- Capability to build SOC workflows, SIEM integrations, and automated incident response triggers
- Strong knowledge of securing data flows for generative AI tools and LLM platforms
- Excellent presentation and technical writing skills, including demos, whitepapers, and guides for analysts through CISOs
- Experience with strategic enterprise customers and major cloud infrastructure providers
- Experience with Application Security, CI/CD pipeline security, or multi-cloud automation using Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus
