Job Description

Procurement Officer managing end-to-end purchasing processes for IT solutions. Sourcing hardware and coordinating with engineering and sales teams for project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process following customer quote approval
  • Source hardware, equipment, and services through approved vendors and partner networks
  • Create, manage, and track purchase orders and sales orders using internal systems
  • Coordinate closely with engineering teams to confirm product suitability, availability, and alternatives where required
  • Provide clear internal communication on order status, delivery timelines, and any changes or risks
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply
  • Monitor vendor promotions, incentives, and special offers and communicate relevant opportunities to internal teams
  • Support sales and engineering teams by identifying cost-effective purchasing options and incentive-led opportunities
  • Ensure procurement records, documentation, and approvals are accurate and up to date
  • Perform due diligence to confirm alignment between quotes, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement and maturity of procurement processes and workflows
  • Support knowledge sharing and documentation to ensure continuity and scalability within the procurement function

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role
  • Experience working with external vendors, distributors, or partner networks
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and the importance of governance and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent orders and competing priorities
  • Experience supporting technical, engineering, or project-based teams (highly regarded)
  • Comfortable working in an environment where processes are evolving and improving
  • Quote and order management systems (e.g. ConnectWise Quote Manager or similar)
  • Ticketing platforms (e.g. Autotask or similar)
  • Accounting or finance systems (e.g. Xero or similar)
