Job Description

Senior Analyst developing and launching Property & Casualty insurance products for Martin & Company, an insurance advisory and consulting firm. Coordinating compliance, actuarial, filings, market research, and carrier initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the strategy, design, and launch of new and enhanced insurance products
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation and market research to regulatory approval and market launch
  • Assist with driving profitable growth and ensuring offerings meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and Managing General Agents to develop new and revised forms and manuals
  • Recommend modifications in response to department of insurance objections
  • Work with Actuarial and State Filings teams to coordinate product launches
  • Define and assist with the architecture of the product vision
  • Prepare competitor comparisons and identify market opportunities
  • Assist with developing project roadmaps
  • Coordinate end-to-end product development with stakeholders, including post-launch optimization
  • Ensure products comply with state and federal regulations and maintain supporting documentation
  • Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Partner with Actuarial, State Filings, and Sales teams on client product development initiatives
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to project teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in product development and insurance compliance
  • Extensive experience in insurance product development within the insurance industry
  • In depth knowledge and experience with development of proprietary as well as bureau (i.e. ISO and AAIS) based programs and exceptions
  • Ability to review and interpret bureau circulars
  • Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and associated regulatory environments
  • Proven ability to assist with complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive results in collaboration with the team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SERFF, ISOnet, Wrike, APCIA, Wolters Kluwer, and IRMI preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive mindset with strong analytical skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
