Job Description

Senior Project Manager managing construction and renovation projects across a large geographic area. Leading cross-functional teams while overseeing project financials and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to manage multiple construction and renovation projects across a large geographic area
  • Overseeing projects from initiation through completion, managing design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring projects meet established goals
  • Tracking project financials, maintaining milestone schedules, providing regular status updates, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Hands on management and oversight of multiple projects, including renovations, building infrastructure, large remodels, and new construction
  • Demonstrating full accountability for end to end management of projects
  • Leading the entire project team consisting of architects, engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders
  • Developing risk management plans and leading project teams through established work authorization processes
  • Overseeing and preparing accurate project documentation for all phases of construction
  • Managing vendors to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures, including the formal closeout of all projects under 90 days after project completion

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field
  • 10-15 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and construction
  • Proven experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space planning concepts, and construction costs and schedules
  • LEED Certification and PMP Certification preferred
  • Up to 60% travel throughout the designated portfolio is required.
