Job Description

Project Manager overseeing daily operations of environmental remediation construction projects at RECON. Leading field crews and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of daily operations for environmental remediation construction projects
  • Providing leadership and direct supervision of field crews and heavy equipment operations
  • Ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Aligning strategic objectives with field-level operations
  • Collaborating with the Safety team to sustain health and safety programs
  • Directing project execution in compliance with contractual scope and requirements
  • Compiling data for project status updates
  • Analyzing physical progress and financial performance data for forecasts
  • Cultivating strong relationships with clients for business opportunities
  • Preparing, submitting, and tracking invoices in alignment with contractual terms
  • Developing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience managing earthwork construction projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Demonstrated history of increasing financial responsibility and supervisory leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 scheduling software and cost estimating tools is preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to travel to project sites daily
