Job Description
Senior Project Manager leading complex, multi-workstream cloud transformation engagements for Burwood Group, now part of Sikich. Managing project finances, risks, executive stakeholders, and delivery optimization across client initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-phase and multi-disciplinary client engagements
- Manage dependencies and coordination across multiple workstreams
- Own project financial performance, including forecasting, margin protection, revenue recognition, and proactive recovery planning
- Partner with Practice Leadership to optimize delivery and profitability while maintaining client satisfaction
- Drive disciplined scope management and profitability alignment
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks before they impact delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and DACS Leadership
- Present project status, risks, and recommendations to client executive audiences
- Present portfolio and project status, risks, and recommendations to internal executive audiences
- Contribute to project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization
- Use delivery health indicators to proactively identify emerging risks and recommend corrective actions before client outcomes are impacted
- Mentor others and elevate team performance
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of project management experience
- Demonstrated success leading complex client engagements
- Strong leadership skills for driving complex engagements from initiation through completion
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in fast-paced environments
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing project profitability
- Strong financial governance and executive communication skills
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-workstream projects
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through clear communications, data-driven recommendations, and trusted partnerships
- PMP certification or equivalent credential strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise cloud deployments, specifically utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies strongly preferred
- Experience supporting Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, business readiness, training coordination, and user adoption strategies is a plus
- Familiarity with Organizational Change Management frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR or similar methodologies is a plus
- Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent experience is a plus
- Experience partnering with business and technical teams to drive successful adoption during enterprise technology and cloud transformation initiatives
