Job Description

Senior Project Manager responsible for IT project execution, collaboration, and reporting at Solutions Metrix. Leading successful project management tailored for the technology sector in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project execution, ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Collaborate with project personnel to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify the need for initial or supplemental project resources and make effective allocations.
  • Develop and update project plans for information technology projects, including objectives, technologies, systems, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Perform risk assessments to develop strategies for managing and mitigating project risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Establish and execute a project communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members, providing feedback and maintaining performance documentation.
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain necessary resources or materials.
  • Oversee the success of the project portfolio by putting in place the required governance and reporting processes.
  • Produce bi-weekly invoicing report for finance to invoice the correct amount to customers.
  • Manage escalations, assist project teams in critical situations or when projects are off track, and effectively engage in difficult conversations with customers.
  • Ensure when a new contract gets signed, the transition to the delivery team gets executed promptly and according to the established process.
  • Coach the delivery team on current processes and project management best practices.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Experience managing CRM implementation projects
  • Experience with the financial sector, banks or credit unions
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management
  • A solid technical background, including an understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid organizational skills, including exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding deadlines and budgets
  • Proven success in working with all levels of management
  • Excellent presentation skills to effectively convey project updates and insights
  • Agile or Scrum Certification a plus (PSM, CSM, DASM, PMI-ACP)
  • Bilingualism (French & English)
