Job Description

Sr. Salesforce Developer at GDIT supporting Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services activities. Building applications on the Salesforce platform and providing IT development support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities
  • Programming using Apex, Salesforce lightning component (AURA/LWC), JavaScript
  • Develop Lightning components and maintain fluency with Apex, SOQL, and SOSL
  • Oversee the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform
  • Collaborate with junior developers to perform code reviews and provide feedback
  • Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects during project delivery
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Development Manager, and other Agile team members.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to development team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on programming/custom coding experience with Salesforce platform, requiring LWC AND Apex
  • Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
  • Valid Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting the implementation of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform in Lightning
  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce.com best practices, Architecture, Design, Development, Administration, and security model
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration
  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud development and customization.
