Job Description
Senior software engineer architecting and coding digital health solutions for CVS Health. Designing scalable systems, integrating components, and guiding technical innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and define technical architecture and infrastructure required for digital solutions
- Write code, develop software components, and implement complex functionalities according to project requirements
- Collaborate with development team members and stakeholders on high-level architectural decisions
- Propose design patterns and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions
- Use advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features
- Optimize performance and ensure code efficiency
- Integrate software components and systems for seamless communication and interoperability
- Contribute to the technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects
- Conduct system testing and debugging
Requirements:
- 5+ years work experience with designing, developing and implementing digital solutions and systems
- Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience
- High School Diploma/GED + 4 years relevant experience as an alternative to the bachelor’s degree
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) preferred
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred
