Job Description
Senior Fullstack Engineer für Vusyons KI-Plattform im deutschen Mittelstand. Entwickeln skalierbarer RAG-, SaaS- und Frontend-Funktionen mit TypeScript und Node.js.
Responsibilities:
- Design and scale distributed systems and microservices
- Develop RAG-based knowledge bases and AI applications for specialist departments
- Develop voice, translation, and analytics features
- Build high-performance APIs, model data and databases, and implement modern frontends
- Model data for multi-tenancy and role-based access control
- Incorporate encryption, data minimization, and auditability from the outset
- Ensure the visibility of AI feature quality, costs, and behavior through evaluations, monitoring, and guardrails
- Continuously improve existing systems, create clear structures, and reduce technical debt
- Work with coding assistants and agents, and test and establish new tools and workflows
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, UX, and consultants
- Translate customer use cases into technical solutions
- Communicate technical decisions transparently
- Support the professional development of junior developers through code reviews and mentoring
- Design architectures, review pull requests, and contribute hands-on development
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience developing complex software systems
- Ideally, experience in AI and/or SaaS/cloud environments
- Excellent TypeScript skills
- Experience with Node.js, ideally including NestJS
- Excellent knowledge of software architecture for distributed systems, microservices, API design, and scalability
- Frontend experience, e.g. with Vue.js, and a strong understanding of full-stack relationships
- Solid knowledge of databases, e.g. PostgreSQL, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, Docker, and operating SaaS applications
- Extensive experience with coding assistants and agents, e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot
- Ability to critically review generated code
- Willingness to actively explore new tools, models, and workflows
- Understanding of modern AI/LLM concepts such as RAG, function calling, embeddings, and agents
- Knowledge of clean code, testing, and code reviews
- Ability to clearly and convincingly explain technical decisions in German and English
- Experience with agentic setups, GDPR, ISO 27001, or the EU AI Act is a plus
