Job Description
Senior Software Engineer developing accessible digital products and services for Walmart, the world's biggest retailer. Supporting inclusive retail experiences and accessibility standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software engineering solutions for Walmart's retail business
- Contribute to products and services that improve the shopping experience for millions of customers
- Support accessible and inclusive digital experiences following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines
Requirements:
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and digital accessibility best practices
- Information Technology - CISCO Certification - Certification
